Payne comes to the cage accompanied by Adema- everyone . Manpoof has chosen You gonna get knocked out by Me as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Manpoof's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Payne looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Manpoof is avoiding damage well.
Manpoof defending against the ground and pound.
Manpoof dodges the ground and pound from Payne.
Manpoof is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Payne trying to control the position but Manpoof is working away.
Manpoof gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Payne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Payne's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Payne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Payne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Payne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Manpoof pulls Payne in close to prevent any damage.
Payne trying to control but Manpoof is working from the bottom.
Payne throws and elbow that misses. Manpoof uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Payne's guard. Nice move by Manpoof!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Manpoof stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Payne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Manpoof avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Manpoof drops Payne with a beautiful combination! Payne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Manpoof is looking for the KO!

It looks like Max Payne has been cut.
Manpoof feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Payne crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
