The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dodd drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dodd postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dodd passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Christ!
Dodd controlling his opponent.
Dodd blocks Christ's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Christ is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Dodd gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Christ clobbers Dodd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Benjamin Dodd has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dodd.
Dodd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Christ is fending him off so far but Dodd persists. Nope, Christ circles away and we're back to standing.
Christ wants to clinch.
Christ looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Christ scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dodd doesn't seem bothered though.
Dodd is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Christ clinches up against the cage.
Christ connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dodd's face.
Christ stalling in the clinch but Dodd improves position.
Dodd prevents Christ from breaking the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Christ as the two fighters clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dodd as Christ tries to tie him up.

Christ manages to break the clinch.
Christ seems to be stalking Dodd here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Dodd drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
