Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Snaps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Latrice Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Latrice Poole will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Snaps! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Latrice Poole! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poole is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Poole shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Poole showed some decent athleticism there. Snaps wants to control but Poole is keeping busy.
Snaps trying to get back to full guard but Poole takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Snaps keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poole avoids the attempt from Snaps to control. Poole trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snaps tries to lock up and control but Poole gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Snaps is looking to improve his position but Poole isn't that keen on the idea.

Snaps really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Snaps wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Snaps looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Snaps has control of Poole's left arm, preventing Poole from doing any damage. Poole trying to control the position from guard on top but Snaps is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Snaps throws a series of punches but Poole moves out of range. Snaps shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poole manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snaps advances position into side control! Poole gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bobby Snaps will probably get the nod. That's time! Snaps's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Snaps drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Poole trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Snaps stays in close to Poole's body and controls the position. Poole looking to control.

Poole keeping moving, preventing Snaps from controlling successfully. Poole can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snaps controls the pace.

Snaps slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Poole is breathing heavily. Poole is trying to improve his position. Poole is trying to control Snaps's posture but Snaps avoids it. Snaps is putting a hurting on Poole here, landing some big shots from side control. Snaps lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Snaps landing a few strikes. You can see the frustration on Poole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Snaps scoring with punches from side control. Snaps controlling the position. Snaps working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Poole is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Snaps is chipping away with strikes.
Snaps has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Snaps prevents Poole from escaping the position. Poole tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Snaps wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Snaps is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Poole has escaped the position, nice work there. Snaps remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snaps lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Snaps lands an elbow. Poole on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
