The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller dives in and grabs Fernandez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fernandez pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.

Miller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fernandez defends it easily.

Miller isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fernandez stacks Miller on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fernandez!

Miller has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fernandez is working away from the top position though.
