PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gal Dove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Terror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dove might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Stranglers - Peaches. Leon Terror will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dove throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Terror.
Terror wants to clinch.
Terror swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dove swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Terror misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch combination from Dove misses.
Dove throws a big shot that misses.
Dove misses with a hook. Terror ducked under it nicely.
Leon Terror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dove leaves Terror with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Terror shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Terror was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dove tries to reverse the position but Terror maintains control.
You get the feeling that Dove really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dove can't escape the position.

Terror cracks Dove with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Terror looking for a guillotine from mount but Dove is having none of it.

Terror looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Dove really wants to buck Terror off and get back to his feet.

Dove holds on to Terror as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Terror wants to control the pace but Dove is squirming around nicely.
Dove is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Terror postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dove looks a forlorn figure.

Terror is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dove is surviving well by controlling Terror's body position as best he can.
Terror looks gassed!

Terror looking to finish Dove with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dove!

Terror has control of Dove's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dove regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Terror lands a big elbow.
Terror won't let Dove get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Terror has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dove's face.

Terror throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dove has his hands clasped together but Terror breaks the hold and Dove is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Terror!
