Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Padre del Panther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ezra Slone has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slone cracks del Panther with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Slone misses with a few strikes there.
Slone lands a jab to del Panther's midsection.
Slone scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Slone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Slone.

Slone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but del Panther moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
del Panther fails with a takedown attempt.
del Panther throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slone's waist but Slone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing del Panther off to one side.
del Panther shoots in and drives through. Slone sprawls well.
Ezra Slone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Padre del Panther.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from del Panther is defended easily by Slone.
del Panther tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slone swivels and escapes.
Padre del Panther seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
del Panther is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Slone.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

del Panther working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Slone is trying to get back to his feet.

del Panther tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no del Panther has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Slone is pushing del Panther's head away, looking to escape. del Panther manages to hold on to the position though.
del Panther tries to score with some ground and pound. Slone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Slone is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, del Panther asserts his dominance and retains side control.

del Panther thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Slone is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but del Panther has just dragged him back down to the mat.
del Panther tries to advance to mount but Slone denies him.
del Panther tries to score with some ground and pound. Slone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
del Panther wants to control but Slone is keeping him busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
del Panther might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

del Panther wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slone, who protects the arm well.
Slone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Slone is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

del Panther is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
