The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Silva!

Hernandez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Silva is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hernandez is defending well for now.
Silva changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hernandez fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hernandez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.

Silva wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hernandez is now in half guard.

Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva wants to control but Hernandez is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hernandez is landing with some decent strikes but Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hernandez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hernandez defends it well.
