Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gailfus has chosen bleed it out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gailfus pinned against the cage. Gailfus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dixon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gailfus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dixon somewhat.
Gailfus misses with a series of wild punches.

Gailfus drives through and clinches with Dixon against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Dixon will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dixon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
