Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Cash Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Dunlap!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunlap shoots for a double leg takedown but Cash Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Dunlap's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dunlap has managed to clinch.
Cash Jr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dunlap gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dunlap tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dunlap lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Dunlap gets through Cash Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Dunlap breaks the clinch.

Dunlap shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cash Jr napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cash Jr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cash Jr tries to get out of the position.
Cash Jr is looking for a sweep.
Dunlap takes a little break here. Cash Jr wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunlap wants to control but Cash Jr is keeping him busy.

Cash Jr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dunlap defends it easily.

Cash Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dunlap wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunlap is taking a breather. Cash Jr says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dunlap works his way into side control.

Dunlap tries for a kimura but Cash Jr is defending well.
Dunlap wants to control but Cash Jr is keeping him busy.
Dunlap remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Dunlap misses with the ground and pound.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Cash Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dunlap moves away.
Dunlap misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dunlap avoids the body shot from Cash Jr.
Cash Jr shoots in for a double leg but Dunlap sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cash Jr tries to clinch up but Dunlap circles away and keeps his distance.

Cash Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dunlap smiles and moves away.
Dunlap lunges at Cash Jr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cash Jr's hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well Dunlap has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
