Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Meatstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beau Neurs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hugh Meatstock has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meatstock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Neurs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Meatstock lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Meatstock fails in his attempt to clinch.
Neurs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Meatstock.
Meatstock throws a head kick but Neurs moves out of range.
Hugh Meatstock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meatstock moves into range and clinches up with Neurs.
Meatstock is trying to stall.

Neurs pulls guard.
Neurs looking for a sweep. Not yet Neurs, not yet.

Neurs trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meatstock looking to sit in guard and control but Neurs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Neurs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meatstock tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neurs with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Meatstock wants to sweep but no luck.

Neurs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Neurs might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Meatstock kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Meatstock is on top in guard.

Meatstock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neurs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Meatstock throws a head kick that misses.
Meatstock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Meatstock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Meatstock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Meatstock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Meatstock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Meatstock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Meatstock keeps Neurs at a distance using the push kick.
Meatstock lands with a slapping head kick.
Meatstock changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Meatstock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Meatstock is breathing heavily.
Meatstock scores with a crisp jab that stopped Neurs in his tracks.

That's time! Meatstock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Meatstock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Neurs manages to avoid it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Meatstock.
Meatstock connects with a body shot.

Meatstock clinches up against the cage.
Neurs avoiding damage.
Meatstock gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Neurs.
Meatstock trying to stall but Neurs improves his position.
Neurs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Neurs tries to break the clinch but Meatstock is controlling the position.

Neurs pulls guard.

Meatstock drops back looking for a leg! Neurs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Neurs manages to kick Meatstock off! Meatstock jumps back into Neurs's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Neurs wants to sweep but no luck.

Neurs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neurs is breathing heavily.

Neurs is working for a submission of some sort.
Meatstock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Meatstock.
Meatstock is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Meatstock can't keep his opponent in guard - Neurs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Meatstock is trying to get back to full guard.

Neurs wants to pass to mount but Meatstock is defending the position.
Neurs prevents Meatstock from improving his position.
Meatstock has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Neurs is working away from the top position though.
Neurs passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Meatstock!
Neurs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Meatstock tries to reverse the position but Neurs maintains control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Neurs has control of Meatstock's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Meatstock regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neurs has hold of Meatstock's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Meatstock manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Neurs fails to advance to Meatstock's back.

Neurs is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Neurs extends the arm and Meatstock is forced to tap!
