Lawrence comes to the cage accompanied by Timebomb. Maia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bulls on Parade. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Miko Maia!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia throws a nice looking combination but Lawrence bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lawrence tries to clinch up.
Maia tries to bum rush Lawrence with a series of wild strikes but Lawrence uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maia pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Maia misses with the combination.
Maia closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Maia moves in looking to clinch but Lawrence pushes him off.
Maia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lawrence dodges the punch combination from Maia.
Lawrence clinches up against the cage.
Maia manages to pull guard.
Maia is looking to stand up but Lawrence isn't so interested in that idea.
Maia has a closed guard, preventing Lawrence from standing up.
Lawrence gets to his feet. Maia looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Maia.
Maia misses with a wild combination.
Maia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Donk. Maia catches Lawrence right on the button with a cross.
Maia wants to clinch up but Lawrence keeps it at a distance.
Maia throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lawrence has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Maia finds it's way round the side to connect with Lawrence's head.
Left hook, right uppercut from Maia.
Lawrence is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maia tries to close the distance and clinch but Lawrence swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oooh a lovely combination from Maia sends Lawrence down but not out. Maia dives into side control looking to finish.
Oh Lawrence is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd goes nuts as Maia knocks Lawrence out cold with a massive hammerfist! Maia Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Miko Maia!
