The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward missing with a left hand there. Pernambuco was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ward throws an overhand right that lands on Pernambuco's shoulder, as Pernambuco tries to avoid the shot.
Pernambuco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ward misses with an uppercut.
Pernambuco gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Eduardo Pernambuco has been cut.
Ward grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pernambuco takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Ward cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
