Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Kaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaka throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Liddell.

It looks like Renan Liddell has been cut.
Kaka throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nice body kick there by Kaka.
Kaka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Liddell tries to clinch but Kaka is having none of it.
Ricardo Kaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kaka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kaka throws a head kick but Liddell moves out of range.
Liddell blocks a head kick by Kaka.
Kaka plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

and Kaka counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Kaka thows a body kick. Liddell tries to catch it but that hurt him.

That has opened up Renan Liddell's cut even more.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Renan Liddell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
