The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ludo as he avoids it easily.
Castro fails to land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Castro is defended easily by Ludo.
Ludo stuffs the takedown.
Derek Ludo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Redof Castro.

Castro shoots for a double leg takedown but Ludo sprawls well. He's pushed Castro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Castro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ludo walks away with a smile on his face. Castro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Redof Castro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Castro shoots for a takedown but Ludo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Castro closes the distance and clinches up with Ludo, looking for a takedown. Castro pushes Ludo against the cage but Ludo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ludo moves in looking to clinch but Castro pushes him off.
Castro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Castro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ludo's guard.
