Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deuce Mcblast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuusela is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hoii mie oon manne!. Mcblast has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Leif Kuusela has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kuusela does no damage.
Leif Kuusela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuusela misses with a few strikes there.
Mcblast is breathing heavily.
Kuusela misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kuusela drops Mcblast with a left right combo! Kuusela follows him down to the ground into side control.

Mcblast is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuusela creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Oh Mcblast is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kuusela stands up and beckons Mcblast to his feet.
Mcblast steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kuusela.
Kuusela tries to bum rush Mcblast with a series of wild strikes but Mcblast uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mcblast seems to have got his legs back now.
Kuusela misses with a double jab.

Kuusela has Mcblast up against the cage in a clinch.

Kuusela breaks from the clinch.
Kuusela misses with a wild combination.
Kuusela scores with a one two! Mcblast had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuusela misses with a looping left.

Kuusela shoots in and bounces Mcblast off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kuusela passes Mcblast's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcblast is pressing down on Kuusela's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kuusela gets to his feet - Mcblast follows without any prompting.
Mcblast throws a nice outside leg kick.

Kuusela forces Mcblast back against the cage and clinches.
Mcblast tries to land knees in the clinch but Kuusela avoids the damage to the body.

Kuusela jumps guard.
Mcblast tries to stand but Kuusela is controlling from the bottom.

Kuusela pushes Mcblast off and gets back to his feet.

Kuusela decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kuusela is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mcblast defends it well.

Kuusela takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Kuusela decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kuusela.
Kuusela rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcblast moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mcblast throws a head kick that misses.
Mcblast tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kuusela throws a right and a left that Mcblast avoids nicely.

Mcblast gets caught flat footed, as Kuusela shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kuusela would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kuusela lands a couple of elbows.

Mcblast wants to stand but Kuusela is controlling the position.
Mcblast has a closed guard, preventing Kuusela from standing up.

Mcblast looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kuusela puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Mcblast is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kuusela scores with a couple of nice shots.
It looks like Kuusela is going to stand back up.

Kuusela stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Mcblast to get to his feet.
Kuusela lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mcblast throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Kuusela counters with a single leg into guard. Mcblast didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcblast is working an open guard so Kuusela takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kuusela avoids the head kick by Mcblast.
Kuusela misses with a double jab.
Kuusela throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kuusela lands with a big left! Mcblast is wobbled badly! Kuusela comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Mcblast to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
