The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lachida stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lachida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lachida wants it to stay on the feet.
Christian misses with a straight left.
Lachida tries to work over Christian's front leg with a kick but Christian checks it.
Christian lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lachida at a distance.
Lachida looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Christian throws a series of punches but Lachida moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Christian misses the target.
Christian looks to land a left hand but Lachida moved out of range nicely.
Jack Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lachida steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Christian.
Christian lands a big shot that drops Lachida! Can he finish him?
It looks like Ryoto Lachida has been cut.
Christian pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lachida is keeping the position for now.
Christian chips away with some ground and pound.
Christian content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lachida is rocked!
Christian gets to his feet and stands over Lachida, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lachida felt that one! Christian unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lachida from any more punishment!
