The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felin tries to clinch up but Couture circles away and keeps his distance.
Felin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Couture as he jumps to the side.
Mikael Felin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Felin tries to clinch but Couture is having none of it.
Felin ducks under a wild hook from Couture.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Felin.
Couture avoids the head kick by Felin.
Felin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Couture paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Felin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Felin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Couture throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Felin slips under a jab.
Couture tries to bum rush Felin with a series of wild strikes but Felin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Couture looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Couture lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Felin at a distance.
Couture works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Couture fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Felin manages to avoid it.
Couture throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Felin closes the distance and clinches up with Couture, looking for a takedown. Felin pushes Couture against the cage but Couture circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Couture lands a left and a right that send Felin crashing to the mat, dazed. Couture thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Felin is rocked!
Felin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh Felin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Couture swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Couture drops Felin with a big left hand! Felin is injured, injured bad! Couture jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
