PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Summer Song. Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'Be Myself' by Charlie Brown Jr. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Diego Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva is trying to control the position but Li postures up.
Li wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.

Li seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.
Li is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
