Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor comes into the arena with 50 Cents- Many Men blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belfort is fending him off so far but Connor persists. Nope, Belfort circles away and we're back to standing.
Connor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Belfort.
Belfort checks a leg kick.
Belfort missing with a left hand there. Connor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Belfort lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Connor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Belfort misses with the combination.
Belfort misses with an uppercut.
Belfort throws a looping overhand right but Connor ducks down to avoid it.
Connor misses with a low kick.
Belfort fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Connor manages to avoid it.
Connor slips a straight right by Belfort.
Belfort just misses with a punch to the body.
Belfort throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Connor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Connor looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Connor throwing strikes from guard but Belfort blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Connor missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Belfort will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Connor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belfort working for a triangle but Connor defends it easily.
Connor stopping the sweep attempt from Belfort.
Connor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Belfort avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Belfort slips a straight right by Connor.
Belfort lands a with a good body shot.
Belfort throws out a loose jab but Connor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Connor fails to land the takedown.
Belfort digs a good body shot into Connor's ribs.
Connor gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A right handed body shot lands from Connor.
Connor lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Belfort tries to score a body lock takedown but Connor shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Connor is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Belfort looks gassed!
Connor unloads a knee to the mid-section. Belfort lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Belfort can't find room to land a body shot as Connor controls the action.
A body shot lands from Connor.
Connor digs a right hand into Belfort's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Belfort's gas tank.
Belfort takes a knee right on the jaw!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Connor connects with a nasty looking knee right to Belfort's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Connor is working Belfort over against the cage.
Connor lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Belfort is rocked!
Connor scores with a nice hook to the head.
Belfort is still on wobbly legs! Can Connor finish him?
Connor will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Belfort up against the cage.
Connor has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Belfort - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Connor, and another! Belfort is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Will Connor!
