The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avenger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Andrews doesn't manage to clinch there - Avenger circles away.
Avenger lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Matt Andrews has been cut.
Andrews throws a head kick but Avenger moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Andrews.
Andrews wants to clinch.

Avenger moves into the clinch.
Andrews wants to break free but Avenger has control.
Avenger can't break the clinch.
Avenger works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Andrews trying to stall but Avenger improves his position.

Avenger pushes Andrews up against the cage in a clinch.

Avenger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Andrews looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Avenger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Avenger with a flurry of punches that miss.
Avenger postures up and lands a big shot to Andrews's brow.
Avenger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Andrews is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Andrews controls Avenger momentarily but Avenger frees himself.
Andrews wants to stand and escape but Avenger is having none of it.
Avenger throws a strike but Andrews rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Avenger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Andrews is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrews decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Avenger, up you get!
Andrews gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Avenger counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Andrews is breathing heavily.

Avenger Rushes Andrews and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Andrews is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Avenger Piles on the pressure and Andrews crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
