Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacho Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gahn Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacho Dee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacho Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gahn Jah!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Pacho Dee has been cut.
Gahn Jah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jah finds it's way round the side to connect with Dee's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jah throws a series of punches but Dee avoids them all with ease.
Dee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jah.

Dee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jah did well to prevent Dee getting side control.
Jah wants to get back to his feet.

Dee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jah tries to get to full guard but Dee has control of the leg.
Dee not doing much here.
Jah trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Dee manages to pass to mount!

Jah regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dee prevents Jah from standing back up.
Dee controlling the pace.
Jah trying to get back to full guard but Dee takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Dee controlling the pace for now.
Jah is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dee wants to take Jah's back but he can't do it this time.
Dee punching from mount but Jah doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jah is desperately trying to improve his position but Dee has a good base and remains in mount.
Jah is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Dee looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Dee manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jah to take his back!

Jah defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Dee is breathing heavily.

Dee is persistently looking for the submission but Jah is defending it well.

Jah defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dee's arms.

Jah is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Dee avoiding Jah 's attempts to control his hands.
Jah controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Dee gets his hands free as Jah looks to control.
Jah is trying to stand back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dee working for the choke.

Dee tightening his grip on Jah, looking for the choke.
Jah trying to control but not successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dee has the hooks in. Jah is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Jah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jah trying to get back to his feet but Dee is in full control for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gahn Jah dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pacho Dee's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Dee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jah is trying to get back to his feet.
Jah prevents Dee from improving position.
Jah is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dee's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Jah trying to control here.
Jah wants to get back to his feet.

Dee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jah is in trouble now - Dee has advanced to mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jah is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jah is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Dee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Dee trying to control but Jah is having none of it.
Jah is looking to improve his position but Dee isn't that keen on the idea.
Jah holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Dee tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dee won't let Jah get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Jah sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jah is looking to improve his position.
Jah is trying to stand up here but Dee is controlling him well.
Jah is not content to let Dee control the position.
Dee trying to control the pace.
Jah is refusing to be controlled, as Dee sits in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dee prevents Jah from improving his position.
Dee stops Jah from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jah lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jah scoring well with a low kick there.
Jah fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dee crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jah - the referee stops the clock and Dee gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jah. Dee manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jah connects with a solid leg kick.
Jah lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jah lands a with a good body shot.
Jah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dee dodges the punch combination from Jah.

Jah gets caught flat footed, as Dee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dee pushing down on Jah's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Dee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jah does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dee is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dee prevents Jah from improving his position.
Jah wants to control but Dee is keeping busy.
Jah tries to roll over but Dee keeps him under control.
Dee trying to control from half guard but Jah is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gahn Jah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Pacho Dee's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Jah with a poor takedown

and Dee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dee keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Dee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jah has one foot on Dee's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
No luck for Dee with that takedown attempt.
Jah lands a nice shot that snaps Dee's head back.
Jah cracks Dee with a right hand to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jah tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jah goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pacho Dee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dee blocks a head kick by Jah.
Dee throws a sloppy head kick and Jah moves out of range easily.
Dee closes the distance and clinches up with Jah, looking for a takedown. Dee pushes Jah against the cage but Jah circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dee walks into a straight right hand from Jah.
Jah throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gahn Jah seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Dee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dee trying to control the position from guard on top but Jah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jah keeping moving, preventing Dee from controlling successfully.
Gahn Jah is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Dee won't allow Jah to get back to his feet.
Dee preventing the sweep.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jah shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dee counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Dee is working for a submission of some sort.
Dee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jah does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pacho Dee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jah manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Jah cracks Dee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jah stuns Dee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Good leg kick by Jah there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jah darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jah connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jah tests Dee's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jah goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jah lands with a kick to the temple. Dee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Jah throws a head kick that half lands.
Jah throws a series of punches but Dee moves out of range.
Dee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Dee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jah sprawls well initially but Dee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dee is working for a submission of some sort.
Jah is not content to let Dee control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pacho Dee.
I think Jah has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
