Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Blankenship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind. Blankenship has chosen Dead Man's Party as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenny Blankenship!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort tries to bum rush Blankenship with a series of wild strikes but Blankenship uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blankenship throws a series of punches but Belfort avoids them all with ease.
Belfort throws a right hand that Blankenship ducks under and follows up with a left that Blankenship also avoids with ease.
Blankenship tries to clinch there but Belfort circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Blankenship, as that shot connected.
It looks like Vitor Belfort has been cut.
Vitor Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blankenship cracks Belfort with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Belfort stuffs the takedown attempt from Blankenship. Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A combination from Blankenship does no damage.
Blankenship looks for the body kick but Belfort saw that one coming.
Blankenship darts in and clinches Belfort up against the cage.
Belfort breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Belfort takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fighters circle, before Blankenship throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Belfort's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Blankenship lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Kenny Blankenship!
