Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Vasconcelos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Proof- by DL Incognito. Rafael Vasconcelos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams is looking to clinch but Vasconcelos is avoiding it.
Vasconcelos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vasconcelos.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Vasconcelos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams did well to prevent Vasconcelos getting side control.
Williams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Williams is looking for a sweep. Vasconcelos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vasconcelos is trying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vasconcelos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Williams flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vasconcelos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Williams throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vasconcelos counters with a series of strikes. Williams will be more careful next time no doubt.

Williams is rocked!
Williams switches off momentarily and Vasconcelos cracks him with a monster right hand! Williams topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Vasconcelos dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Vasconcelos!
