Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mico Zvijer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mico Zvijer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mico Zvijer!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Zvijer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dover tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zvijer misses with a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Dover rushes Zvijer and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Zvijer looking for a takedown.
Dover stops a takedown attempt from Zvijer.
Zvijer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Dover is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zvijer is aware though and is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zvijer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dover's guard.

Dover wants to sweep here but Zvijer controlling him for the moment.
Zvijer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dover is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dover wants to clinch up but Zvijer keeps it at a distance.
Dover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zvijer is fending him off so far but Dover persists. Nope, Zvijer circles away and we're back to standing.
Dover shoots for a double leg takedown but Zvijer sprawls well. He's pushed Dover's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zvijer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Zvijer as Dover shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Dover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zvijer lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Ben Dover has been cut.
Zvijer lands a big head kick that sends Dover tumbling to the mat! Zvijer takes a step backwards and waves Dover back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zvijer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
BOOM! Zvijer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dover. Dover tries to recover but Zvijer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dover lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mico Zvijer!
