Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Toby Chapelle!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barnie Bradstone!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapelle throws a right hand that Bradstone ducks under and follows up with a left that Bradstone also avoids with ease.
Bradstone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chapelle looks to land a combination. Bradstone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bradstone throws out a leg kick but Chapelle moves out of range and Bradstone only half commits.
Bradstone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chapelle.
Chapelle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bradstone backs up against the cage.
Chapelle pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bradstone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bradstone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chapelle counters with a thumping low kick.
Chapelle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bradstone's sensitive parts.
Chapelle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradstone was well out of range. Poor timing from Chapelle.
Chapelle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bradstone moves away.
Good leg kick by Chapelle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big right from Chapelle misses.
Bradstone attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Chapelle throws a head kick that misses.
Chapelle misses with a leg kick
and Bradstone counters with a straight right hand.
Bradstone blocks a leg kick.
A lazy body kick from Bradstone
and Chapelle counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bradstone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chapelle throws a right hand that Bradstone ducks under and follows up with a left that Bradstone also avoids with ease.

so Bradstone counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bradstone advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradstone lands a decent elbow from side control.
Bradstone throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Chapelle manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Bradstone looks gassed!
Bradstone thows a huge punch but Chapelle dodges it nicely.
Chapelle slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bradstone stops Chapelle from standing up.
Bradstone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chapelle is controlling Bradstone's posture.
Bradstone throws and elbow that misses. Chapelle uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bradstone's guard. Nice move by Chapelle!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradstone looking for a sweep. Not yet Bradstone, not yet.
Chapelle content to stall in guard here.
Chapelle trying to control but Bradstone is working from the bottom.
Chapelle controls from within his opponent's guard.
Chapelle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bradstone on the ground.

Chapelle preventing the sweep.
Chapelle tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradstone is retaining full guard.
Chapelle passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bradstone is looking to reverse the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chapelle wants to stand but Bradstone is controlling his arm.
Chapelle is looking to take a break and control but Bradstone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bradstone throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bradstone goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Chapelle checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Chapelle throws a combination that misses
and Bradstone counters with a nice body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bradstone throws a hook but Chapelle avoids it easily.
Toby Chapelle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chapelle misses with the combination.
Chapelle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bradstone circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Toby Chapelle will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A chopping leg kick lands by Chapelle.
Toby Chapelle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bradstone takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bradstone wants to land a leg kick but Chapelle is out of range.
Bradstone is breathing heavily.
Bradstone pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chapelle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bradstone looks up at the clock. Bad move! Chapelle lands a right hand from hell, dropping Bradstone. Chapelle pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toby Chapelle!
