The crowd seem to be enjoying Carpenter's choice of entrance music: Riot Maker. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter has a takedown stuffed.

Carpenter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wagner is trying to defend but Carpenter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Carpenter stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wagner to get to his feet.
Carpenter tries a head kick but it misses.
Wagner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wagner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Carpenter counters with a single leg into guard. Wagner didn't expect that.

Carpenter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wagner, up you get!

Wagner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wagner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carpenter.
Wolf Wagner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tank Carpenter.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carpenter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wagner finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Carpenter wants to land a leg kick but Wagner is out of range.
Carpenter tries for a takedown but Wagner circles away easily
and Wagner counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Carpenter is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Wagner! Carpenter is out on his feet! Wagner rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Carpenter is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Carpenter is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
