Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lusu Lina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres has chosen Aqualung - Jethro Tull as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manres fails with a takedown attempt.

Manres is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lina's half guard.

Lina is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Manres's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Manres's back!

Manres got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lina has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manres has managed to get both his arms back between Lina's legs - danger averted.

Manres is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lina is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Manres is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Manres takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Manres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lina defends it well.
Lina on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lina controls Manres momentarily but Manres frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manres has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lina is proving hard to escape from.

Lina escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manres gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lina has his foot on Manres's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manres works his way back into a safe position though.

Lina goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Manres rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lina's guard! Nice work there by Manres!

Ludwig Manres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lina ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Manres moves away.

Manres shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manres showed some decent athleticism there.
Lina is staying active underneath Manres, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lina goes for an armbar but Manres turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Manres.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Manres shoots for a double leg takedown but Lina sprawls well. He's pushed Manres's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Manres feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lina is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Manres is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Manres has escaped and now he's on top!
Lina has momentary wrist control but Manres slips an elbow through the middle.

Manres wants to control from the top but Lina keeps moving.

Manres postures up in Lina's guard and throws a big left but Lina blocks it.

Manres gets to his feet. Lina looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Manres takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Manres shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lina's guard.
Lina bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Manres's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lina is working Manres over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Manres escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lina loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Lina thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
