PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ortiz killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ortiz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jesus Walks. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? killer is fending him off so far but Ortiz persists. Nope, killer circles away and we're back to standing.
killer doesn't manage to clinch there - Ortiz circles away.
killer lunges at Ortiz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ortiz's hand.

Ortiz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ortiz lands in his opponent's guard.

Ortiz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on killer, up you get!
killer fails with an attempt to clinch.
killer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ortiz defending well as killer loads up on a big left hand.
killer dives in and grabs Ortiz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ortiz pushes down on killer's head and hops out.
Ortiz swats away the attempt to clinch by killer.
killer shoots in and drives through. Ortiz sprawls well.

killer misses with a head kick.

Ortiz feints and as killer raises his hands in defense, Ortiz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
killer looks gassed!

killer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ortiz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ortiz gets to his feet. killer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ortiz pushes killer off looking to stand but killer dives back in and keeps control.
Ortiz is concentrating on defense, preventing killer from advancing position.
Ortiz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of killer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take killer's back!

Ortiz is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but killer won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Ortiz off his unconscious opponent!
