Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Tobkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Alcano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tobkins comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Alcano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three Stars & A Sun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shawn Tobkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alcano's waist but Alcano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tobkins off to one side.
Alcano stuffs the takedown attempt from Tobkins. Tobkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Shawn Tobkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tobkins dives in and grabs Alcano's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alcano pushes down on Tobkins's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Tobkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alcano shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alcano connects with a nice short shot to Tobkins's temple.

Tobkins is trying to maintain the position but Alcano is very close to passing his half guard.
Tobkins is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
