The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendonca fails in his attempt to clinch.
Perunamuusi keeps the fight on the outside.
Mendonca doesn't manage to clinch there - Perunamuusi circles away.

Perunamuusi feints and as Mendonca raises his hands in defense, Perunamuusi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Perunamuusi trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mendonca manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Perunamuusi keeping moving, preventing Mendonca from controlling successfully.

Perunamuusi is looking to sinch up a triangle. Mendonca throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Perunamuusi's body to avoid the submission. Perunamuusi has instead reached around Mendonca's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Perunamuusi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
