And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joachim Peiper!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakobs dodges the punch combination from Peiper.
Peiper throws a looping overhand right but Jakobs ducks down to avoid it.
Jakobs looks to throw the jab but Peiper is out of range.
Jakobs takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Peiper fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Peiper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jakobs.
Jakobs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Peiper as he avoids it easily.

Peiper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jakobs drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Peiper manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jakobs has Peiper in his guard.

Jakobs closes the distance and clinches up with Peiper, looking for a takedown. Jakobs pushes Peiper against the cage but Peiper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jakobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peiper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jakobs throws a strike but Peiper rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
