The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistinface rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Echavarria moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fistinface swinging wilding here.
Fistinface tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Echavarria shoots in but no luck this time.
A punch combination from Fistinface misses.
Fistinface lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Theo Fistinface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fistinface misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fistinface tries to bum rush Echavarria with a series of wild strikes but Echavarria uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Echavarria shoots in but Fistinface avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Echavarria is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fistinface misses with a takedown
and Echavarria counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fistinface's guard now.
Fistinface is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Echavarria dives into side control.

Fistinface pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
