Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tota Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Healy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A Day to Remember - . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Healy.

Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Healy's guard.
Gracie controls from within his opponent's guard.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Healy is retaining full guard.
Healy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie wants to take Healy's back here but Healy is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Healy is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Gracie has taken his back.

Gracie has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Healy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Healy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
