Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kyoto Machine!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Svensson as he avoids it easily.
Machine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Svensson.
Svensson throws a body kick that misses.
Machine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Svensson avoids it really well and circles away.
Machine shoots in but no luck this time.
Tor Svensson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyoto Machine.

Svensson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Svensson showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Svensson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Machine is not content to let Svensson control the position.

Svensson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Machine is just riding it out for now. Svensson eventually gives up the hold.

Svensson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Svensson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Svensson lands a heavy elbow.

Svensson moves to take his opponent's back.

Machine is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Svensson gets his way!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machine is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Svensson.
