The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cifer Jr throws a series of punches but Bowes avoids them all with ease.
Cifer Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bowes leaves Cifer Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cifer Jr fails with the takedown.
Bowes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cifer Jr.
Bowes moves in looking to clinch but Cifer Jr pushes him off.

Bowes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cifer Jr is looking to work some ground and pound but Bowes has wrist control.
Cifer Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bowes works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Cifer Jr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bowes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cifer Jr is looking to defend but Bowes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cifer Jr! Bowes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cifer Jr taps out and this one is all over!
