The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Foster regains full guard. Nicely done.

Foster looking for a guillotine here but Stevens defends easily.
Stevens wants to control from the top but Foster keeps moving.
Stevens has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Foster had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Foster Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevens's back instead.
Stevens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foster on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stevens is trying to break free.

Foster looking for the choke but no joy.

Stevens is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Stevens manages to reverse the position and now he's in Foster's guard. Nice work there by Stevens.
Foster looks gassed!

Foster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stevens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stevens throws a big right hand that misses.
Stevens working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Foster's head.
Foster trying to keep a closed guard but Stevens is proving a slippery customer.

Foster is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Stevens has his hands clasped together but Foster extends an breaks Stevens's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Foster.
