Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Jacoby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bonham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacoby has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Bonham counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jacoby bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bonham's guard.
Bonham doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Jacoby drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jacoby jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bonham uses his free foot to push down on Jacoby's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jacoby.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
