Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Duke Drosey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce SilvA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drosey comes to the cage accompanied by Trash. Duke Drosey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SilvA shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drosey as he jumps to the side.
Drosey throws a nice looking combination but SilvA bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

SilvA darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Drosey is trying to stand back up but SilvA is controlling him
SilvA is looking to advance position but Drosey won't allow it.

SilvA wants to work for an arm triangle but Drosey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

SilvA is taking a breather. Drosey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

SilvA is looking for a kimura here.
SilvA wants to pass to mount but Drosey is defending the position.

Drosey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for SilvA on the ground.

Drosey tries to buck SilvA off but SilvA is having none of it.
SilvA tries to score with some ground and pound. Drosey controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
SilvA cracks Drosey with a big right hand but Drosey just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

SilvA tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Drosey is looking for a sweep.
Drosey is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked SilvA off and has taken his back!
Drosey wants to control but SilvA is keeping busy.
Drosey is throwing strikes by SilvA counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, SilvA regains half guard.
SilvA trying to control but Drosey postures up.

Drosey seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

SilvA unloads a knee to the mid-section. Drosey lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

SilvA is trying to trip Drosey. He has hold of a leg but Drosey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. SilvA persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

SilvA wants to control from the top but Drosey keeps moving.

SilvA has hold of Drosey's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Drosey tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - SilvA cranks the arm and Drosey screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Drosey, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
