Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iron mke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goce Delcev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goce Delcev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mke moves in looking to clinch but Delcev pushes him off.
Delcev tries for a takedown but mke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Delcev shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Delcev wants to pass to mount but mke is defending the position.

mke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
mke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Delcev is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

mke stands up and waves to Delcev to follow him.

It looks like Iron mke has been cut.

That was a close round but I would say that Iron mke will probably get the nod.
