Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ground Hog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar De La Reya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Reya has chosen Rap de Mexico as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hog bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hog throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Hog cracks De La Reya with an elbow. That is naaassty.
De La Reya is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hog controls the position from side control.

De La Reya seems to have recovered his senses.
De La Reya tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hog wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

De La Reya is trying to get back to full guard.
De La Reya has hold of Hog's hands but Hog slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hog prevents De La Reya from standing back up.
De La Reya looks gassed!
Hog lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hog passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for De La Reya!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

De La Reya is bucking up trying to escape but Hog cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
De La Reya tries to hold on but Hog pushes him away.
Hog lands a big shot there that rocks De La Reya but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
