The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halkias bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Halkias tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Clay gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Clay connecting with a few gentle strikes.

Clay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halkias pulls his head out easily.
Clay moves into full guard.

Halkias is pushing down on Clay's leg trying to pass to half guard. Clay is fighting to maintain full guard but Halkias has managed to sneak the leg through.
