Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Izumi Toshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toshiro comes to the cage accompanied by Scary. Izumi Toshiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deeds closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Toshiro to the mat! Toshiro manages to get full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Deeds postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Toshiro to stand up.

and Deeds counters with a nice double leg into side control. Toshiro won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deeds got a little sloppy there for a moment and Toshiro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deeds has managed to get both his arms back between Toshiro's legs - danger averted.

Deeds stands and steps away. Toshiro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
