Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diziz Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Just like you imagined - 300 theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diziz Sparta!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparta swings for the body but Big moves out of range.
Big swinging wilding here.
Big throws a right and a left that Sparta avoids nicely.
Sparta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Big scores with a shot to the body.
Sparta shoots for a double leg takedown but Big sprawls well. He's pushed Sparta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Big feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sparta is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Big drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Big jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Big stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sparta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Big throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sparta's waist but Sparta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Big off to one side.

Sparta takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sparta dodges the punch combination from Big.
Sparta closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Big is trying is best to control the position here.

Sparta seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Big controls Sparta momentarily but Sparta frees himself.
Sparta postures up in Big's guard and throws a big left but Big blocks it.
Sparta lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Big is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sparta throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Big's body to avoid the submission. Big has instead reached around Sparta's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Big arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
