Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Browder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho has chosen Sexy Chick as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carvalho shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Browder's guard.

Browder throws a right hand that Carvalho ducks under and follows up with a left that Carvalho also avoids with ease.
Browder could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Browder looks to land a combination but Carvalho avoids it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carvalho has his foot on Browder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Browder works his way back into a safe position though.

A head kick misses from Browder.

Carvalho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carvalho swings around for an armbar but Browder sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carvalho's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carvalho is on top in guard.

Carvalho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carvalho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
