PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xv Jobber vX (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jens pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying pulver's choice of entrance music: littlle evil. Jobber vX has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. jens pulver told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

pulver moves into the clinch.

pulver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

pulver escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jobber vX avoids the head kick by pulver.

pulver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
pulver drops an elbow to the side of Jobber vX's head.
pulver slows the pace down in half guard.
Let's hope that pulver has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jobber vX really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
pulver winds up and cracks Jobber vX with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
