Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Puh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Difelco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puh's entrance music is Nalle Puhin uudet seikkailut. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Difelco's choice of entrance music: Gary Numan - Down In The Park. Nalle Puh is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nalle Puh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Difelco!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Difelco stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Puh.

Puh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Puh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Difelco throws a solid leg kick but Puh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Difelco.

Difelco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Puh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Puh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Difelco!

Puh using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Difelco has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Puh presses Difelco against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Puh lands an uppercut.

Difelco blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Puh gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Puh manages to break the clinch.
Puh moves in looking to clinch but Difelco pushes him off.
Puh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Puh tries to clinch up but Difelco circles away and keeps his distance.
Difelco shoots in for a takedown but Puh shows good takedown defense.
Difelco keeps the fight on the outside.
Puh scores with a hook.
Difelco throws out a loose jab but Puh uses good head movement to avoid it.

Puh clinches with his opponent.
Difelco tries to pull guard but Puh holds him up against the cage and eventually Difelco drops back down to his feet.
Puh works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Puh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Difelco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Difelco counters with a series of strikes. Puh will be more careful next time no doubt.
Puh fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nalle Puh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Difelco counters with a single leg into guard. Puh didn't expect that.
Difelco looks gassed!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Difelco thows a big elbow that misses.

Difelco postures up in Puh's guard and throws a big left but Puh blocks it.
Puh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Difelco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Difelco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Difelco gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Difelco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Puh has closed the distance and engaged Difelco in a clinch.

It looks like Tony Difelco has been cut.
Puh scores with a shoulder strike.
Difelco is breathing heavily.
Puh throws a knee to the head but misses.

Puh is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
