Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hesh Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutu has chosen YMCA as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ruutu.

Law scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ruutu is trying to control Law's posture but Law avoids it.
Law really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ruutu gets back to half guard.
Ruutu is trying to maintain the position but Law is very close to passing his half guard.

Law is looking for a kimura but Ruutu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Law to get the leverage.

Law is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ruutu is just riding it out for now. Law eventually gives up the hold.
Ruutu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ruutu.

Law trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Ruutu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Law looking to sit in guard and control but Ruutu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ruutu is pushing down on Law's leg trying to pass to half guard. Law is fighting to maintain full guard but Ruutu has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ruutu looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Ruutu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Law is looking for a sweep. Ruutu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Law is breathing heavily.
Ruutu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Ruutu moves nicely into side control.

Ruutu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Law is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ruutu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Law looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ruutu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Law is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ruutu lets go of the hold and Law can pop his arm back in it's socket.
