The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alfonzo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lefa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lefa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alfonzo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alfonzo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alfonzo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lefa - the referee stops the clock and Alfonzo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lefa. Alfonzo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Alfonzo won't let Lefa get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

I would just about give that final round to Edgardo Alfonzo.
