The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kwon waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Smith.
Kwon swinging wilding here.
Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Kwon.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kwon.
Kwon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Kwon looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Kwon misses the shot to the body.
Kwon fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kwon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kwon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kwon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Kwon moves out of range easily.
Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kwon at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith stands up over Kwon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kwon tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Kwon's temple.
