Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Benato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henric Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benato's entrance music is Perry Mason. A fine choice. Andersen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sultans Of Swing. Mauricio Benato is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersen drives through and clinches with Benato against the cage.

Andersen has picked Benato up - he's going for a ride! Andersen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Andersen wants to take a breather but Benato is having none of it.
Benato tries to kick Andersen off in order to stand up. Andersen Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Benato tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Benato has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Benato avoids the head kick by Andersen.
Benato wants to clinch up but Andersen keeps it at a distance.

Benato is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Benato passes to side control.
Andersen is trying to control Benato's posture but Benato avoids it.
Andersen parries the strikes from Benato easily there. Benato is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Andersen to escape.

Benato is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Andersen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Benato throws a wild body kick that Andersen sees coming a mile off.

Andersen closes the distance and pushes Benato back into the cage.
Andersen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Benato.
Benato tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Benato is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Andersen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Benato misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Andersen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Benato wants to pass the guard but Andersen is defending well.

Benato has an Americana. Andersen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Benato is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Benato hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
